My name is Jason and I am the owner of 84 Outdoors, a property maintenance company. In 2021 I was diagnosed with PTSD as a result of the workplace, which left me questioning my future as an Advanced Care Paramedic. During the recovery process I began searching for an outlet and looking for an answer to the frequently asked question - "what if you can't go back"? It was scary. During this time I remembered my childhood start-up and what once was a child's idea morphed into 84 Outdoors.
As a kid I would hustle around the neighbourhood providing my lawn care services and this continued through high school. It gave me a sense of accomplishment, I was able to help those that needed the support, and I made sure the block was looking good! After high school I had the opportunity to move to the USA on a full Baseball Scholarship which led to two years in the IBL after college. Once my baseball career ended I entered the medical field, first becoming a Primary Paramedic and then an Advanced Care Paramedic. In addition to being a Paramedic, I also am a father of two.
I greatly appreciate your support on this new project and I am looking forward to working with you.
Thanks for taking the time to read,
Jason
